Position Summary
As an SAP FIORI Developer, you will design, develop, and implement innovative SAP software solutions tailored to client needs. In this role, you will translate business requirements into technical specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the successful integration of SAP solutions. Success in this position requires a detail-oriented, proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop custom SAP solutions using a range of technologies, including ABAP, OO ABAP, BOPF, Fiori, PI/PO, HANA, CDS Views, OData, AMDP, and SAPUI5.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable ABAP code with minimal guidance.
- Conduct thorough testing of SAP solutions to ensure alignment with business goals and documented processes.
- Partner with SAP functional personnel and cross-functional teams to implement and deploy system enhancements.
- Contribute to end-to-end testing, go-live support, and post-implementation troubleshooting.
- Stay updated on SAP best practices, tools, and technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to established standards and practices.
- Travel to client sites as needed for implementation and support.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Certificate or bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 2–4 years of experience in SAP development roles.
- Experience working with government agencies or the Department of Defense is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong expertise in SAP development tools and methodologies, including ABAP, OO ABAP, Fiori, BOPF, HANA, CDS Views, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Ability to independently design, develop, test, and implement SAP solutions.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and clients.
